The Short Answer
Our website does not use cookies to track you. We do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels or social media plugins, and we do not load content from other companies when you open a page. That is why you do not see a cookie banner on our site.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They can be used to keep a website working (for example to keep you logged in) or to follow your behaviour across visits. We only use the first kind, and only in the situations described below.
2. When Cookies Can Be Set
| Situation | Cookie | Why | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal visit, contact forms, licence and download pages | None | – | – |
| You leave a comment on a blog post and tick ‘Save my name and email’ | comment_author_* | Fills in your name and email next time you comment | 1 year |
| Our own staff log in to manage the website | wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_* | Keeps the administrator logged in | Session or up to 14 days |
None of these cookies are shared with other companies or used for statistics or advertising.
3. Legal Basis
The comment cookie is only set if you choose it by ticking the box (§ 25(1) TDDDG). Login cookies are technically necessary for logged-in staff (§ 25(2) TDDDG).
4. Deleting Cookies
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser’s privacy settings. Our website works fully without them.
5. If This Changes
If we ever want to use cookies for statistics or advertising, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before doing so.
